Editorial Review

Many come to Baja and forget it's even Mexico while lost shopping in an agave swirl. This eco-boutique is for the traveler who wants to be in touch with the land and desires total isolation. A very bumpy ride to the middle of nowhere reveals a gorgeous lodge that is half-museum, half-desert shore wonderland. In harmony with the creatures of the surrounding sand and seascape, the hotel runs on very little electricity, water, or luxury. Pleasures come from the total immersion in nature and the romantic qulaities imbued in the property's craft. Candle-lit paths lead the way to delicate and plush casitas with king beds. Sleep to the crash of the surf, which sometimes pumps in the day, but is always filled with Galapagos-levels of beautiful life. A primitive stone cottage is available for rent directly on the beach. Spartan magic. This is the real Baja.
