An enchanting enoteca has quietly found its niche on Via Pavia. Viola combines both the range and technical conoscenza of wines, with the aesthetics necessary to enjoy them. Over 250, Italian-centric, bottles are served in a fanciful, wooden and stone-floor space to couples at aperitivi and comrades taking a “pausa pranzo.” The modest kitchen offers diverse cheese and olive salads, flavorful pasta plates and vegetarian fare, most with heavy seafood infusions. Not to be missed.
