You won't be seeing Johnny Depp here; he's long gone. Nor any Anton Newcombe fist fights either. You will see plenty of local talent with punk roots, both faux and Let's Go! Also A&R guys shifting awkwardly, wondering if that maniac on stage who's stripping off his clothes could sell at Target. The go-go dancers rule; the doormen are dicks. Dark, dank, tiny, celeb-heavy, and still with a place in our hearts. R.I.P. River.
