Virgil's Real Barbecue

Editorial Review

All ya'll really came to New York City just to eat pulled pork and spare ribs? Apparently so. Times Square stalwart always packed with folks who probably can't find much else besides barbecue to eat where they come from. Down-home décor soothes frazzled tourist nerves, as does spacious bi-level roadhouse spread. House smoker fired by hickory, oak, and fruitwoods, turns out above-average Texas brisket, Maryland ham. Start off with the buttermilk biscuits, finish with a white trashalicious slice of peanut butter pie.
