Editorial Review

Sleekly appointed hotel has co-opted the concept of yuppie Wonderland. Three-story octagonal glass entrance leads straight to the lobby bar (brilliant). Overstuffed leather and velvet chairs, bowls of green apples, Dr. Seuss–inspired floral arrangements. Dark hallways and tiny rooms drive guests straight to XYZ bar and restaurant or 5,000-square-foot Bliss spa to soak weary feet in. Smashing SoMa location in the thick of it all.
