Watershed

Editorial Review

Emily Sailers, one-half of the folky Indigo Girls, plays co-restaurateur at this popular white tablecloth spot with casual neighborhood leanings. Executive chef Scott Peacock runs a kitchen where smart Southern creations (stone ground shrimp grits, salmon croquettes and fried chicken) hook repeat grubbers. Housed in an former gas station, Watershed’s closed garage bay doors reflect flickering candlelight and images of spiffy-dressed heteros, smiley gal pals and Decatur’s eclectic family base.
