Waveland Bowl

Editorial Review

More family-friendly than Diversey Rock-n-Bowl, forty lanes go for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Surly teenagers and punk-rock malcontents bump elbows with families and children's birthday parties, but the strong lighting somehow manages to keep things civil. The lanes seem to stretch to the horizon, but expect a wait for an open one in the summertime, and another wait in line at their perennially understaffed full bar.
