Editorial Review

A bright star on  La Jolla's dining scene, with semi-enclosed patio dining, minimal décor and a tapas-style menu. Centered around chef Ryan Johnston's house-made specialties (including a killer meat plate, pasta and ice cream) and bar chef Jedi Ian Ward's high-minded cocktails ("London's Burning" has roasted jalapeño water, lime and gin). One of S.D.'s hottest restaurants of 2008, and 2009 seems the same.
