Wild Rice

Editorial Review

Launched under the spotlight of the Food Network's Opening Soon, Wild Rice's aesthetic and gastronomic goals are unabashedly non-traditional in what could have been an intimidating location. Modernist menu sees venison dumplings, lamb wontons and a bounty for fish lovers and vegetarians. At lunch, try the Chinatown Sweep duck/pork stir fry. Take-out available until closing. Dairy-free kitchen serves no coffee; substantial tea list and enough enticing wine, international beers and cocktails you'll forget almost everything, even the troubled area these trailblazers chose.
