If only every restaurant greeted you with a giant hug and a kiss. The giant metal XO sculpture smack in the middle of the dining room is a tad imposing, but so are the chandeliers, 40-foot ceilings with gold filigree and the Louis Vuitton-totin' 12 year-old at the next table. Such are the travails of chi-chi hotel dining. Throw your shoulders back, order a bottle of Dom and the Black Angus beef and you're nobody's fool.
