After abrupty abandoning Gigi, the Asian hot spot he helmed in Midtown, Jeff McInnis was hard at work on his latest endeavor that pays edible homage to his Southern roots with emphasis on the farm to table frenzy. On the menu: updated versions of classics including shrimp and grits, fried chicken and ribs as well as modern or, rather, Asian dishes gone South like the Southern Edamame: steamed peas in a spicy chili butter.
