Long haird hippie owner and artist Simon Gajhadhar has been hawking antiques since the tender age of 15. He moved to St. Lucia to "rediscover his roots" and started fashioning Easter Island type wooden masks after the birth of his daughter -wait for it--Calypso. Zaka is a Haitian god who rules over all things nature, which makes sense for a store that sells masks made out of local woods. Although we think Gajhadhar might be smoking a little too much island reefer, if you like tacky masks that are kind of creepy, stop by. If you ask nicely he might even split a joint with you. Oh, and no two pieces are the same.
