NYU film professor Jose Angel Santana's lawsuit against James Franco and New York University continues evermore — this time with the actor basically saying its a waste of his precious time.
Santana's December 2011 lawsuit claims that NYU fired him for failing the actor with a "D" grade because Franco only showed up for 2 out of 14 classes of "Directing The Actor II"; Franco said he skipped nearly all the classes because Santana was a bad teacher. According to the New York Daily News, papers filed by Franco in Manhattan Supreme Court say Santana failed to properly serve him papers and it should be thrown out on those ground alone, it should be tossed out of court. Additionally, Franco argues his negative opinion that Santana is an "awful" teacher is constitutionally protected.
NYU's spokesman John Beckman dismissed Santana's lawsuit, back when it was filed, as "ridiculous." I'd say James Franco (and his 37 different advanced degrees) is the ridiculous one, no?
