We can all relax: Kanye West is doing something other than reality show stars. While the hip-hop genius has been seemingly dating both a lady and the paparazzi lately, reports coming out of Qatar say that West is working on an opus of a music video. According to The Hollywood Reporter, West has been camped out near Education City, a complex on the outskirts of Doha, working on a long-form video project with rapper Kid Cudi. 

The first trailer for Wes Anderson’s upcoming Moonrise Kingdom came out in January, and since then stunts like interactive posters have helped build interest for the film. Now, with a month until the release of the latest picture from the mind behind The Royal Tenenbaums, a series of six charming clips from the film has been unveiled—and they don’t disappoint. The movie, set in 1965, focuses on two love-struck 12-year-olds who run off together into the wild as a deadly storm brews off the coast of the New England island where the action all takes place. As always in Anderson’s movies, though, it’s the wacky characters that steal the show. The new clips range from an introduction to the seemingly doomed locale of New Penzance to quickie character portraits of these Andersonian creations played by the likes of Jason Schwartzman, Frances McDormand, Bill Murray, Kevin Costner, and Tilda Swinton, and from what we can tell, they promise to be as out there, and destined to seep into our collective cultural memory, as ever.

It hasn’t been much more than a week since Nicki Minaj left Twitter, leaving her millions of followers with a rather harsh farewell: tweeting (then deleting) a post that read, "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good fucking bye.”

Back in January, the video for “Big Mouth,” a single from Master Of My Make-Believe, Santigold’s first record in four years, dropped. The song played brilliantly on Santi White’s chilled-out chanting and supercharged production to reintroduce the record executive turned performer to her fans as being as ferocious as ever (see below). 

For a guy who claims he doesn’t want to deal with women, rapper T.I. did a pretty terrible job avoiding a skirmish with up-and-coming rapper Azealia Banks. During an appearance Monday on WGCI’s “Morning Riot” show, the “Popped Off” performer weighed in once more on the feud between Banks, the up-and-coming Harlem rapper known for her underground hit “212,” and Iggy Azalea, the Aussie rapper signed to his Grand Hustle record label. “I ain’t even know nothing about it. I didn’t even see it,” T.I. told the radio show. “I know they’re going through their thing, but the fact that she’s speaking upon me and mine, that is what I consider bitch shit. I’m a man… You ain’t got no business addressing me. You got a man, get him to address me, and he and I can speak on it. But you and me… Can’t keep dealing with that woman. Ya’ll handle that. I do what men do.”

While the fate of 30 Rock is still unclear and no less than Alec Baldwin, the furry-chested glue that holds the show together, recently tweeted that he was “leaving NBC just in time,” and following up with "OK...scratch the $20 retirement idea. Just watch 30 Rock LIVE this Thursday. On NBC." Done and done.

Remember how bummed you were in March 2010 when Animal Collective was still coasting along on the good vibes of the year-old Merriweather Post Pavillion? That’s when the band played a set with their visual-art collaborator Danny Perez at Manhattan’s Guggenheim Museum, a set that everyone you knew tried to score tickets to see. A set that very few of them succeeded in being present for. The time has come to begin moving past the guilt of missing such an event, however, thanks to this weekend’s release of Transverse Temporal Gyrus, an LP featuring a collage of the sounds the band made on that legendary night.

After four weekends of box-office dominance, the post-apocalyptic teen battle-to-the-death has been bested a paean to husbands and dads.  Think Like A Man, the film based on Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, a relationship advice book from TV personality Steve Harvey, earned $33 million this past weekend, more than double projected earnings, according to Hollywood.com. Not only that, but The Hunger Games also came in third past the Zac-Efron-As-Returning-War-Hero weeper, The Lucky One.

Janice Dickinson’s not only the (self-proclaimed) world’s first supermodel, she’s also the first judge to unceremoniously split with Tyra Banks’s America’s Next Top Model, something that’s become a bit of a trend again lately. The fallin-out that lead the former girlfriend of Warren Beatty, Sylvester Stallone, and Mick Jagger to publicly declare that the string-bean reality competition is “rigged” and to say, "CoverGirl are the ones who choose the model—not any of the judges. People don't know that!”
