Is that a lizard in your pants? No, not like that, seriously man, do you have reptiles down there? For Hans Kurt Kubus, a 58-year-old German man, the answer to those questions was yes, in a big way. On Tuesday, Kubus was sentenced to 14 weeks in jail after he was caught trying to board a plane in New Zealand last month with 44 small lizards in his underwear.
