Fashion Week Friday kicked off early with two stellar shows at Milk Studios. First, I caught the NAHM show, designed by Nary Manivong and Ally Hilfiger—Tommy Hilfiger's daughter. The legendary Mr. Hilfiger was there, too, and genuinely beaming like a proud father at his daughter's school recital. But this collection wasn't child's play by any means—in fact, it just might be NAHM's best range yet. All-over egyptian and floral prints had the cult capacity of a Prada collection, and the matching wallpaper was a genius touch.

An evening of art, music, and drinks provided the ideal atmosphere at Bowery Hotel for Art Rocks! The third annual benefit -- hosted by John Whitledge, Arden Wohl, and DJ Berrie -- was a late starter, and many thought it was over before it even began. But the slow build created a lounge setting that put everyone in a drinking spirit. The patrons took their time perusing art and swiping snacks early on, with easy access to the bar. After around five or six stiff ones, things started to get weird.

It’s the buzz surrounding Alice Dellal, a sometimes heiress, sometimes model, generating a large reverb through the fashion industry for her trashy style and rumored succession of Kate Moss as the new face of Agent Provocateur.
