You may already be familiar with Cassius Clay (no, not that one); he’s the 19-year-old Yale student who went from shopping in Barneys to Kanye’s style guru in a matter of days. He’s been one of the best rags-to-riches stories of 2010 (although we don’t consider a Barneys shopper to be leading a particularly destitute life) and his style is certainly refreshing for men tired of the same old look. Heavy on accessories, Clay’s look is Parisian chic with an edge to it—think Barbour jackets with gold horse brooches, Hermes scarves over studded wool sweaters, simple shoes in unexpected fabrics. He references Anna Dello Russo and Grace Coddington as some of his favorite stylists, according to an interview on Opening Ceremony’s blog.

Now that Kate Middleton is engaged to Prince William, everything from her wedding plans to fashion decisions have become top news. And believe it or not, she's become somewhat of a UK trendsetter for her classic, semi-conservative style and has actually spawned a wave of royal-deficient wannabes on the prowl. It can also be worn instead of a bridal veil, which is not too far-fetched of an idea for Middleton.

Tommy Ton, the founder of the much-adored fashion blog Jak & Jil and resident photoblogger for Style.com, has released his best-dressed list of 2010—and there's not an actress or singer in sight. In fact, the list is comprised mostly of fashion assistants, editors, and stylists. Leigh Lezark is the only DJ on the list, but even she has a tie to the fashion industry, as a beauty ambassador for Chanel. Only one fashion blogger turned up on the list, and one NYC party girl, Michelle Harper. Other than that, it's all business. It's no surprise that BlackBook favorite Anna Dello Russo is on the list, but Ton also included both of her assistants—Viviana Volpicella and Aurora Sansone—which will certainly make them a new target for other street-style photographers.

On December 3, fashion fanatic and apparent Kanye West fan Anna Dello Russo is set to launch her debut fragrance called "The Scent of Anna Dello Russo." Not camera shy in the slightest, the editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan has also taken it upon herself to generate buzz around the launch by leaking a video of her scent, which features her dress-dancing in a dramatic Alan Journo headpiece and Emilio Pucci gown to the sound of Kanye's hit "Runaway." She's also debuted the promotional portrait, shot by none other than famed photographer and longtime Marc Jacobs collaborator Juergen Teller.
