Yesterday I gave you the scoop on Palermo Soho's NY-inspired shopping scene. While this popular Bueno Aires neighborhood is bursting with delectable retail, it's their gifted gastronomy that reels in scores of visitors from around the world. While exploring Palermo Soho after a life-changing lunch at nearby Mott today, a sense of comfort came over me. Remarkably (and intentionally) similar to downtown Manhattan's sensory overload, there's a reason why this bustling neighborhood is known as the creative epicenter of Buenos Aires. While it oozes with creative dining options and stimulating artwork, Palermo Soho also has a dense concentration of top-notch boutiques, so naturally I was hooked. Equipped with a fistful of freshly converted Pesos, I made the retail rounds at a slew of sweet shops, like Jazmin Chebar (pictured). Read on for the rest of my must-stops.

After only a day's worth of pedestrian spectating in beautiful Buenos Aires, I've learned two things about their quintessential city-dweller: comfort is never compromised and smiling is an involuntary reflex. It's spring in Argentina, and while the slightest sign of warm temperatures is enough to send Americans reaching for our summer dresses and open-toe platforms, the girls here are a bit more practical in their ensemble choices. Similar to Paris' understated sensibility and nothing like Cannes' over-the-top luxury, BA style is fit for the low-key traveler with European flair. Pictorial evidence, right this way.
