I'm really feeling Carine Roitfeld's vision. As a follow-up to her surprising pro-Kate Upton debut, for the second issue of her CR Fashion Book the former French Vogue editor-in-chief tapped a bevy of characters that include hot models like Alessandra Ambrosio and Irina Shayk and dancer Lil Buck to star in a festive spread and video. The Bruce Weber-directed works also feature Mob Wives star Big Ang flaunting her generous lady lumps while dancing, play-fighting and generally having a damn good time. I wish fashion was always this fun. Peep the video after the jump.

Carine Roitfeld, the infamous and influential editor of French Vogue, has announced her resignation from the magazine after 10 years at the helm, in order to focus on personal projects. Under Roitfeld's tenure, French Vogue has became one of the most progressive and creative fashion publications in the world and has set a standard for excellence in fashion editorial. “It’s 10 years that I’m editor of the magazine, I think it’s time to do something different,” Roitfeld told Cathy Horyn at the New York Times. “When everything is good, maybe I think it’s the time to do something else.”

The fabulous Tom Ford is the guest editor of the December-January issue of French Vogue. According to WWD, French Vogue's editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld invited Ford, who has recently plunged back into women's wear, to take up the guest editing task a year ago and true to form, he embraced it fully, art directing the entire issue, writing articles, playing photographer and stylist. The glorious and glamorous new issue of French Vogue, shot by wonder team Mert& Marcus and styled by the genius Carine Roitfeld, speaks to a time when power suits ruled and jewelry was bigger than a woman's hand. Such were the days of dynasty, androgyny, and pure decadence. The issue pays homage to all that is (new) and was (vintage) Chanel and manages to capture the allure that Coco Chanel herself once infused into this legendary house. Cover model Iris Strubegger looks so incredibly alluring and staggeringly powerful, I can't but turn the page without having felt the power from within.

Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld is the founder of Feedback Productions, prince to the Paris Voguette throne, and an emerging name in the New York art scene. This week, Roitfeld curates the work of three photographers -- P.C. Valmorbida, David Mushegain, and Salim Langatta -- at Collective Hardware. The opening event, sponsored by Louis Vuitton and Terrazas, attracted high-profile celebutantes and close friends of the artists. The crowd looked something like: Vladimir's sister Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and (fashion icon) mother Carine Roitfeld, both Hiltons, Natalia Vodianova, Gisele Bundchen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Stavros Niarchos, Mila Jovovich, Lily Donaldson, Zoe Kravitz, Hilary Rhoda, and Cory Kennedy. Post-party, the A-listers moved uptown and took Indochine back to its glory days. After the jump, Vladimir expands on his passions, the lack of sibling rivalry in his high-profile fam, and enjoying a glass of vino.

Urban Dictionary describes a Fresh Kid as "someone in to the whole street culture, 90's hip hop scene, underground rap, graffiti, skateboarding, and rare sneaker collection. So it is with great perplexity that Kanye West, himself fresher than Nobu sushi, has appointed French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld as one. For all Mrs. Roitfeld has accomplished (making French Vogue an international harbinger of effortless cool, giving birth to a New York socialite), she certainly isn't "fresh."
