While the usual suspects make the front-row rounds in Paris for the haute couture shows this week, there's one celebrity that has surprisingly snuck into the high-fashion mix: Cameron Diaz. Today the bronzer than normal starlet has already hit the Aterlier Versace show with fellow actress Diane Kruger, and was just spotted rubbing elbows with the likes of Bar Rafaeli and Karlie Kloss (pictured) at the Christian Dior show. Is this her new thing?

It is no surprise that Christian Dior tapped Fabiola Beracasa to host the opening of its pop-up shop at Art Basel, marking an unofficial launch of artist Anselm Reyle’s limited collection for the power brand. Beracasa worked for Dior’s special events department moons ago, and treating fashion as art is a part of her M.O, as the creative director of New York’s trendy gallery, The Hole.

I love Christian Dior’s sailor-inspired theme for ready-to-wear SS11 (pictured). In my book, the nautical theme never goes out of style. With all the flashy '70s-inspired styles floating around, it’s great to see the classic resort look popping up. I never get tired of white linen pants, navy/red combos, anchors, espadrilles, buckles, and bows. It’s not even January and I’m already getting excited to pull out my nautical wear. Are we done with this cold weather yet? Not even close, but it’s never too soon to start planning your fashion game plan for spring. After the jump, get the Dior look for less.

Whether it has seeped into the subconscious of fashion's elite, or they'd readily admit to their addiction to Doc Jensen's Lost blog on EW.com, it seems pretty clear to me that fashion designers have been heavily inspired by Season 6 of Lost. Like hella inspired. And I'm not talking about the designers that screen print "I'm One of Oceanic's 6" onto American Apparel T's. I'm talking high fashion, award winning and industry recognized fashion houses. Evidence that Vogue-heads are actually Losties after the jump.

Seen backstage at yesterday's Dior Couture show -- a set-list containing threats words of wisdom for models walking in the Spring 2010 Couture presentation. We were obedient at "BE ELEGANT," but the stern reminder that the tight apparel being sported was being watched by the ghost of fashion past, Christian Dior himself, it's no wonder skinny abounds in modeling -- we'd be scared to nosh on even a scant macaroon left on a coveted spectator's chair in fear Mr. Dior would see our thickening thighs.
