● One man has started an online fundraiser that will offer $10 million to sort-of-disgraced '90s band Weezer if they agree to break up. This man, maybe, has never heard the music of Will.i.am. [NYDN] ● Rick Sanchez finally released an apology for the anti-Jew, anti-Jon Stewart rant that got him fired from CNN, saying there's "no hard feelings" between him and the network. A trio of upcoming Hollywood projects share titles and plots that are so similar, we're having trouble telling them apart. What we can tell you is that all of them loosely revolve around cars and the angry dudes who drive them. We know this because aside from spending hours re-reading plot synopses and watching trailers, they're respectively called Faster, Drive Angry 3D, and Drive. (And no, none of these is related to the next Fast & Furious movie, due out next year.) They also all center around three pedal-happy individuals, who are either out for revenge, involved in a bank robbery gone wrong, or both. So for your benefit, and ours, we're sifting through these projects to see which ones will be clunkers, and which ones you should be racing to see. (And to see how many car puns we can come up with.) Start your engines!

Full-figured Crystal Renn might have landed a Chanel show and ad, but Christina Hendricks found it nearly impossible to score a dress for the Emmy's. While the fashion industry has begun to embrace plus-size figures, Hollywood still has a lot of catching up to do. "People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress," Hendricks told the Daily Record. "They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I'm still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress," she added. The woman with one of the most widely celebrated figures in Hollywood—one that's front and center in every interview and Mad Men episode—can't find more than a few dresses that fit for the red carpet.

● Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is in stable condition after overdosing on aspirin and "a sleep aid," according to her manager. Someone give Ruben Studdard a hug today. Earlier this morning, I came across a press release for a new movie called Detachment. About to skip it—every morning I come across a press release for a new movie—I saw the name Tony Kaye and continued reading. Tony Kaye has been a fascination of mine since the release of his 1998 feature directorial debut, American History X, which devolved into a messy battle between Kaye, the film's star, Edward Norton, and the film's studio, New Line, over final cut. Specifically, Kaye was enraged to find that 15 minutes of footage had been tacked on to the end of the film when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Of the spectacle, a proud Kaye told me a few years ago, "I don’t know if it was the biggest, but it was certainly the most publicized Hollywood battle over a cut, ever."

● What if we imposed a Lindsay Lohan media blackout day once a week? Not only so the internet wouldn't be inundated with such depressing and vapid news, but also so she could catch a break from getting sued. [TMZ] ● Lindsay blackout day can't be today, though, because in addition to her fraud charges, one time a cop confused her cocaine for a breath mint. [TMZ] ● Though they've been banned from schools across the nation, adults have started to wear Silly Bandz. Kids can't handle the power. [NYT]
