It's a realistic concept, at least, to watch Robert Pattinson hooking up with all the women across town in the first trailer for his new film, Bel Ami, which based off the novel of the same name. He plays a penniless soldier named Georges Duroy, who decides the only way to rise to power is to use what God gave him: that chiseled mug, that perfectly coiffed hair. But it's not in the romantic (?) way of his Twilight escapades, no. Judging from the trailer, Duroy is a total sleaze.

Pan Am, ABC's stewardess drama, didn't exactly light up the ratings the way the network would have liked it to, and so as these things go, ABC has decided to air just one episode between now and Christmas, with the remaining episodes airing in January.

A safe place for extravagant taste, the annual Costume Institute Gala is the ultimate platform for fashion's finest to bring their sartorial A-game. Considering last night's Met Gala was a tribute to Alexander McQueen, we were surprised to see only a handful of guests wearing his famously outré designs. In fact, many attendees played it safe this year, which only made the risk-takers shine even more on the red carpet. One guest who didn't skimp (does she ever?) was Anna Dello Russo, who wowed in a tuxedo by Sarah Burton topped off with a glitter egg fascinator. See a few other gala surprises after the jump.

● Christina Ricci at the Whitney Art Party: I like Da Umberto and Il Buco for pasta, the Peking Duck House for duck. ● Leigh Lezark of Misshapes: Kenmare, they make really good gnocchi. I do like the brunch at the Tribeca Grand. ● Eva Amurri: Jumbo's Clown Room in L.A. is super fun. I also love to have a drink and get something to eat at Gjelina, which has amazing tuna crudo and really good vegetable sides and pizza.
more● LA-based artist Ben Tegal has created a family portrait of Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson after Grant Wood's American Gothic painting. Ronson is the pitchfork (and headphone-wearing) husband, while Lohan is her Prairie-dress-wearing wife. [E!] ● Kate Moss lets it all hang out (of her blazer) in Paris. NSFW. [Egotastic] ● Michael Jackson is prepping for his "comeback" tour in London by getting even more plastic surgery. No word on what he’s having done, but unless it makes his face look like it did in 1985, it’s not going to help. [JAM]

Christina Ricci has the cover of the May issue of BlackBook, along with an interview and more pictures inside. But this isn't the first time Ricci has graced our pages, as she also starred on the "Night" issue from Winter 2001-2002. And that puts her in a pretty exclusive club of BlackBook double-cover idols.
