In case you missed it, supermodel Gisele Bundchen joined Instagram yesterday. She only has one photo up at the moment, and it's of her wrapped in the Brazil flag. She captioned it with, "Welcome to my official Instagram! Shooting in my beloved country." 

In case you're just tuning into the internet, supermodel Gisele Bündchen gave birth to a baby girl. The 32-year-old ridiculously beautiful superhuman (and world's highest paid model) and her ridiculously handsome husband Tom Brady named their second child Vivian Lake, whose sonogram was probably shot by Mario Testino. While we wait for Bündchen to bounce back into shape in like two seconds, here are four other current fashion events to be aware of, for your Friday slacking pleasure.

While she might not make the best Super Bowl commentator, Gisele Bundchen is a world-class model.  Following last week's outburst in defense of her husband Tom Brady, she made an unexpected strut down the mirrored catwalk at Alexander Wang yesterday along with  Shalom Harlow and Karolina Kurkova.  Supermodels are back.

The 30th edition of Sao Paulo Fashion Week began last Friday, attracting international celebrities and some of the world's top models to Brazil as it continues to increase its profile amongst the world's fashion week heavyweights. Highlights include Ashton Kutcher's return to the runway -- with wifey in tow -- Paris Hilton strutting for Triton, and supermodels Gisele Bündchen, Lea T., and Alessandra Ambrósio repping their motherland. People have been looking for a good reason to hate Gisele Bundchen for a long time. Her hair is perfect, she has the best body in the Western Hemisphere, she’s married to the most attractive football player of all time, and she never really says too much one way or the other. It’d be way easier to hate her if she was a crazy blogger/Tweeter and expressed all of her innermost feelings publicly, like ANTM’s Adrianne Curry or Lindsay Lohan. But this week, Gisele anti-fans and mothers everywhere are hatin’ on the supermodel thanks to an interview in Harpers Bazaar UK in which Gisele tells her interviewer that she wishes there were a "worldwide law" that would force mothers to "breastfeed their babies for six months." Hard advice to take from a millionaire supermodel with a flat stomach, great hair, and a smokin' hot, rich husband. What other incidents should've been cut short by more vigilant PR reps?
