In the past few years, Copenhagen Fashion Week has grown exponentially into a shut-down-the-city event where catwalks invade Copenhagen's streets, parks, and even City Hall. More than 40 designers showed their Spring/Summer 2011 collections last week in the Danish capital, but the biggest highlight by far was Helena Christensen inaugurating "The World's Greatest Catwalk," a 1.6 kilometer hot pink carpeted runway - the world's longest outdoor catwalk - on the main pedestrian street of the Strøget. The event drew 100,000 onlookers and gave the public a great show most people wouldn't have been able to see otherwise.
