With the release of her new album, Ultraviolet, Kid Sister is finally making her mark on the music industry and showing us that she’s more than just another Kanye disciple. Over the last three years she has given us a taste of her fearless style and unique sound, but now we get to see what this Chi-town native is really capable of. We caught up with the spunky Kid Sister to talk about being a woman in a man's world and how if you don't like her sound, you might just be allergic to fun.

After reviewing a few cases of premium liquor for us, Chicago rapper Kid Sister told us which local dives she loves the most. "I go to the dirtiest places possible," she says. "I've been to Debonair Social Club once, when my friend DJ Mehdi performed there. I go to Subterranean, the Abbey Pub, and Town Hall Pub, which is a dirty, dirty little place."

Last night, Asics debuted an uber-modern yet ironically nostalgic piece of artwork that even toddlers of the world can appreciate -- the world’s largest Lite-Brite construction. Yes, Hasbro-brand, elementary-school-era Lite-Brite. An 11’ x 15’ sculpture with an emblazoned neon image of the brand’s Gel-Lyte III sneaker was showcased at New York's Splashlight Studios, while Chi-Town’s newest phenomenon Kid Sister, strutted her stuff on stage to entertain the schmoozing and boozing media-hipster crowd.
