Native New York beauty brand Kiehl's never fails, staying true to their apothecary roots while pumping out must-have, innovative products. This week, Kiehl's is debuting its first-ever spa, Spa 1851. Located above their new Upper East Side shop, there are three iPad-equipped treatment rooms and lounges furnished with antiques and reclaimed vintage ceilings. One of the first truly unisex brands, the spa offers the same gender-neutral vibe, though it does have a separate grooming station where men can drop in for a shave or hair cut.

Brad Pitt is following in the footsteps of Derek Lam and teaming with Kiehl's to create the first Cradle-to-Cradle design-certified beauty product. But this isn't a traditional celebrity endorsement; Pitt won't be paid for participating, and the actor won't appear in ads. Rather, Pitt and Kiehl's are partners in a charity drive. All of the net profits from the sales of the Kiehl's Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser will go to a foundation created by Pitt and Kiehl's to "support global environmental initiatives that minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design."
