Demi Moore

● Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital late Monday night for a "substance abuse related issue" -- "shaking" and "acting like she was suffering from a seizure," reportedly -- and exhaustion. According to her rep, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. Kirsten Dunst disappeared from the big screen for two years (a fact we can blame for the rise of Anne Hathaway), was always seen drunk in the tabloids, went to rehab and battled depression. She pulled it back together and is suddenly everywhere from All Good Things with Ryan Gosling, Lars von Trier's Melancholia, and staring uncomfortably at the camera in the last R.E.M. video. If she's looking for a comeback she's succeeding and has just picked up a new role.

R.E.M. has recently called it quits, and what better way to bow out of the music industry than to release a greatest hits collection featuring a tepid new song? The video for the song isn't much more exciting, unless you find yourself quite taken with the notion of Kirsten Dunst staring at a camera for three minutes. She doesn't do much on screen, but I bet there's a ton going on inside her head. Here's what I think her inner monologue might have been.

Kirsten Dunst is currently starring in Melancholia, the nutty new film from Nazi-sympathizing jokester Lars von Trier. It looks like a wacky barrel of LOLs; the trailer is chock-full of existential crises as a bunch of characters deal with the impending near-destruction of the earth from a colliding planet. Like the rest of the von Trier oeuvre, it's light on the laffs and heavy on the "oh, I guess this was good? I mean, it played Cannes and did pretty well? I dunno, it's kind of alienating? Like, in a Kubrick kind of way? It wasn't sad sad or really frightening but I might have a nightmare about this anyway because, I dunno, I feel like my psyche was possibly attacked?" You know, that sort of film? You get it, because you've seen movies before! Kirsten Dunst, however, may need to hear a little explanation.

A few months ago Danish director Lars von Trier got himself into some trouble after he casually mentioned at the Cannes Film Festival, as one does, that he, you know, sympathizes just a bit with Adolf Hitler. "I can see him sitting in his bunker in the end,” he said. Poor little Hitler!

● This years Cannes is a wrap, and Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life took the Palm d'Or, while Kirsten Dunst earned Best Actress, presumably for her performance at the now infamous Melancholia press conference. [THR] ● Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez shared their most public kiss (on the lips!) yet, after Bieber won Best New Artist at last night's Billboard Awards. [JustJared] ● When it comes to the ladies -- and as we now know, there have been a lot of ladies -- "unstoppable womanizer" Arnold Schwarzenegger has been known to aim low, opting for the more "grateful" plain Janes. "The physical is most important to him and he does not want to be upstaged or lose the spotlight in company of a strikingly beautiful woman," reports the New York Post. Gross. [NYP]

Yesterday, we blew the internet up with our revealing cover story on Kirsten Dunst from our 2011 New Regime issue. This month, Dunst makes her triumphant return to the big screen in the dramatic thriller All Good Things. And last November, she was eager to get in front of the lens of Simon Lekias, who shot this stunning photo gallery exclusively for BlackBook. We've got the video to prove it.
