Now that the fall/winter 2012 season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is nearly a month away (seriously, where does the time go?), Mercedes-Benz has revealed their latest "Icon of Style" campaign, shot by photographer Alex Prager. The key visual will debut during MBFW, and stars two very attractive subjects: Dutch supermodel Lara Stone, and the luxury vehicle manufacturer's new SL Roadster.

I'm not exactly jealous I wasn't invited to the Met Gala this year, more miffed about missing out on the prep time—kicking back in a salon chatting with famous people as I wait for my designer gown to arrive. Imagine, for example, what the Tracie Martyn Salon was like the morning of the mega-fete. Tracie, A-list skin wizard to the stars, was prepping supermodel Lara Stone and actors Liv Tyler and Kate Winslet for the ball.

Flipping through May's newest glossies, I had a thought: Is red hair the new bang? I had just noticed Kate Moss in Vogue Paris looking punky in (temporary) red locks, and was flipping through Lara Stone's editorial "Wild!!!!" in Vogue China, where the gap-toothed one is also sporting a new red 'do. Days later, Blake Lively washed away her Cali blond in favor of rouge. Then the redhead floodgates really opened up. Have a look:

Dutch supermodel and face of CK One's digital campaign, Lara Stone hosted a party in East London to kick off the brand's partnership with MTV Push. Given that the American fashion label's new commercial really is one big dance party, it makes sense that they'd link up with the popular MTV UK show to host a series of live music events. But before the music starting banging and the drinks started flowing, WWD took some time out with Stone to discuss the new CK One, old CK One, and the movie role she was born to play.

Do you remember the first time you saw this commercial? I was only in grade school when the iconic CK One campaign first came out, but that didn't stop me from swapping out just about every colorful item in my closet for a new muted palette to express the teenage angst I wasn't actually feeling yet. The unisex fragrance encapsulated the look and smell of a generation, bringing you back to wherever you were in the '90s with just one whiff. If you, too, haven't quite forgotten that defining scent, then the fact that Calvin Klein is launching a new lifestyle collection under the CK One label is major.

Tom Ford is everywhere these days! After editing the holiday issue of French Vogue, sharing some snaps of his super-secret runway show with Harper’s Bazaar, and outfitting models in his new line in American Vogue, Ford decided to chat with W Magazine about the lovely ladies who first wore his womenswear looks last fall and who inspired his designs. This embroidered silk dress with fringe was designed for Karen Elson: “Karen is such an exotic beauty, I always love dressing her in a color that plays off her skin tone and hair color,” Ford tells W. “The cobalt blue of the dress seemed exactly right.”

French Vogue is ringing in its 90th birthday with an issue that includes cross-dressing, gluttony, and no shortage of Lara Stone's breasts. In light of the occasion, the New York Times' Eric Wilson sat down with the magazine's iconic EOC, Carine Roitfeld. "Ms. Roitfeld’s new issue set a record for the publication with 620 pages, many of them advertisements created specially for the anniversary," he said of the editrix's latest handiwork, noting that the Terry Richardson-shot spread of plus size poster-child Crystal Renn gorging herself on pasta, squid, and various semi-cooked meats, is bound to be the issue's most controversial chapter. Roitfeld must be relishing the attention.

Kate Moss might have been celebrating more than her 36th birthday this past weekend: Rumors has it that the supermodel and designer is officially betrothed to The Kills' Jamie Hince. Supposedly, the rock star popped the question this past weekend while the pair was in Mustique. "The ring was supposedly chosen with the help of Topshop head Philip Green, although Jamie and Kate were spotted looking at jewelry together in London last month," says Fashionologie. But, given the fact that Moss wasn't spotted wearing a ring upon her return to London, nothing is written in blogosphere stone just yet.
