According to the annual United Health Foundation Rankings, the healthiest state in these United States is that slab of land known as Vermont. On what criteria did Vermont beat the other 49 states to win the top honor? It was their high rate of education and low incidence of infectious disease that sealed the deal. New Hampshire, Connecticut, Hawaii, and Massachusetts joined Vermont in the top five.

The people have spoken, and Nickelodeon has answered: TeenNick will start re-airing their original 90s programming. Now categorized as retro, shows like Kenan & Kel, Pete & Pete, The Amanda Show, All That and Clarissa Explains It All will be seen again come fall. Like Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, Nick will air the recycled programming after the kiddies have gone to bed, from midnight to 2am. Perfect for those keeping stoner hours.

It’s not a day in Hollywood if there isn’t a lawsuit being served. Today we have Oscar-winning screenwriter and director Quentin Tarantino suing fellow screenwriter and director Alan Ball, and it’s not over a screenplay. No, rather it’s over Ball’s "exotic bird menagerie," which is impairing Tarantino, who is Ball’s neighbor, from writing. Obtained by TMZ the lawsuit, which begins by giving a brief filmography of Quentin’s work, claims that Ball’s tropical macaws are placed in an outside aviary daily where they can emit their “blood-curdling ... pterodactyl-like screams” for up to 7 or 8 hours a day.

Just when you’d conquered your Mafia Wars addiction, Mark Zuckerberg is gearing up to claim even more of your time with Facebook's new venture. In partnership with Warner Brother’s, you’ll now be able to rent and stream movies through Facebook. You may ask: Why watch films on Facebook in a world of Hulu, Netflix, Watch Instantly, and iTunes? I’ll answer that question with another one: Why not? Thomas Gewecke, president of Warner Brothers Digital Distribution, explains to The Hollywood Reporter, "It gives consumers a simple, convenient way to access and enjoy our films through the world's largest social network." This is how the service will work.

Just as every successful actor eventually ponders a career in music, there's a point in every musician’s career where they consider the stage or screen. There a several ways to go about it. You can toy with how you're already perceived à la Trent Reznor, who will reportedly play a vampire in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. His Twitter account is already a vehicle for product placements, as of this weekend he has his own show, and a book deal can’t be far behind.
