Set in Cuba, the French designer, known for her clever romanticism, dreams up a fantastical sequence of events inspired by the mood of the collection.

Tom Ford is everywhere these days! After editing the holiday issue of French Vogue, sharing some snaps of his super-secret runway show with Harper’s Bazaar, and outfitting models in his new line in American Vogue, Ford decided to chat with W Magazine about the lovely ladies who first wore his womenswear looks last fall and who inspired his designs. This embroidered silk dress with fringe was designed for Karen Elson: “Karen is such an exotic beauty, I always love dressing her in a color that plays off her skin tone and hair color,” Ford tells W. “The cobalt blue of the dress seemed exactly right.”

Like her designs, Jules Kim is sexy, intriguing, and a little dangerous. Her jewelry line Bijules is an assortment of daring bar rings and body jewelry that not only look good, but feel good. Wearing her work makes you feel like you can do anything and make anything happen, which is how Kim lives her own life. "My line is inspired by my life and the honesty of the experiences around me. I share air, space, beliefs, and ideas with many people so I'd like to be able to affect their lives as well with my work," says the designer. She's already affected a number of badass women across the globe, including some well-known divas like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and recently, Lou Doillon. And if that's enough, the powerhouse has quite a few more tricks up her sleeve: "I've recently launched Le Bij eco-friendly bar rings and also BJ by Jules Kim with Urban Outfitters. And the Bijules Haute collection will be released in Europe and Japan very shortly. I also have a new capsule collection in time for the holiday called Glacons and I'm in development for a few projects abroad in France and Italy!" How's that for motivation?

Having been born to renowned French filmmaker Jacques Doillon and the arrestingly beautiful actress Jane Birkin, it’s little surprise Lou Doillon has pursued careers in both fashion and film. The statuesque brunette landed her first role alongside her mother in Kung-Fu Master, and has since garnered equal attention by modeling for everyone from Gap to Givenchy.
