FW2

Fashion Week Friday kicked off early with two stellar shows at Milk Studios. First, I caught the NAHM show, designed by Nary Manivong and Ally Hilfiger—Tommy Hilfiger's daughter. The legendary Mr. Hilfiger was there, too, and genuinely beaming like a proud father at his daughter's school recital. But this collection wasn't child's play by any means—in fact, it just might be NAHM's best range yet. All-over egyptian and floral prints had the cult capacity of a Prada collection, and the matching wallpaper was a genius touch.

OCVDAY

Let's face it: Valentine's Day is really for the ladies. Whether it's flowers, chocolates, expensive dinners, or Prada keychains, men have a plethora of foolproof girly gifts to fall back on when they're down to the wire. As for women: not so much. Sure, we can always throw on some sexy lingerie if all else fails, but that would require us to get out of our comfy warm pajamas—and it's too cold for that nonsense.

West

In today's "Kanye West Loves Fashion" news, WWD has announced that the rapper will indeed return to Paris Fashion Week to present his sophomore womenswear collection at 9:30pm on March 6. Now, the Telegraph reports that 'Ye met up with billionaire Topshop tycoon Sir Phillip Green last week for lunch to discuss an upcoming project. "They were in the restaurant for several hours tossing ideas back and forth," Telegraph reveals. Hmm.

CakePops

Just in time for fashion week, London-based bakery Molly Bakes has revealed a set of cake-pops that feature the faces of all your favorite fashion designers and influencers. Pictured are pops inspired by Andre Leon Talley, Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour, and they also carry cakes with the faces of Donatella Versace, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood (really).

ADR3

Never one to play if safe, fashion phenom Anna Dello Russo styled Italian model Bianca Balti as a Spanish bullfighter in March's Vogue Nippon editorial called "Kiss of the Matador." The Giampaolo Sgura-shot images features Balti in looks inspired by the now-banned sport, designed by Versace, Giuseppe Zanotti, Moschino, Emilio Pucci, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Salvatore Ferragamo.

McGinley

There are so many good fashion films popping up as of late that we can hardly contain ourselves. For Edun's spring 2012 campaign, acclaimed artist Ryan McGinley filmed a group of models, including Bradley Soileau and Charlotte Free, casually interacting with a bunch of friendly butterflies. But because it's under the direction of the imaginative and somewhat controversial McGinley, butterflies aren't just hanging around said pretty people—they're in their mouths, in their pants, and generally up in their business. And it works.

AltVogue

Just when you thought Emmanuelle Alt couldn't possibly get any cooler, she goes ahead and does something spectacular like this. To promote the relaunch of Vogue.fr, the fashion rag released an awesomely '80s-inspired music video that features the French Vogue editor-in-chief, fashion vet Mademoiselle Agnès, and models Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru, Jasmine Tookes and Kendra Spears performing “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham! Naturally, Alt channels George Michael in the clip, and does a superior job doing so.

Stella2012

Today, eco-friendly designer Stella McCartney released a new video with PETA wherein she discusses the harsh reality that, although leather is a style staple for many, there are a series of unethical practices involved in obtaining animal skin. The three-minute video features the designer directly addressing the audience, accompanied by scary clips of factory workers skinning animals. In a word, ew.

Beckham

While Madonna's Givenchy-happy halftime show was certainly a highlight of yesterday's Super Bowl, we were also pretty hyped to see H&M's $3.5 MM commercial for their Bodywear collection with David Beckham. As we hoped, the ad features Beckham's body in all of its athletic glory, which was a nice reprieve from the actual game and a heck of a lot more interesting than most of the Super Bowl aired that day. See the 30-second (NSFW, unless you make this window really tiny) ad after the jump.
