Assuming Google's interactive style curator has staying power, the Boutiques.com race to the top has only just begun. Tastemakers in the celebrity and blogger categories are quickly starting to rack up followers, which can only mean one thing -- who do fashion fans really want to dress like? Well, the preliminary results are in and it looks like pixie-coifed actress Carey Mulligan's shop is the highest ranked with 1,375 followers. Olivia Palermo comes in a close second with 1,252 followers.

I have a favorite scene from The Hills. It takes place at one of the main character’s houses, I forget which one—either Kristin’s or Whitney’s or Lauren’s—regardless, they are having a pool party. One of the girls, again, I’ve forgotten which one, any of the above, or maybe it was Audrina, goes to the front of the house to let in some boys (who are no doubt coming to stir up drama). As she is about to open the front gate, someone runs up and hits her in the face with a shovel.

It seems every socialite has an accessories line these days. Tinsley Mortimer does handbags. Paris Hilton does shoes (among a number of other Paris-stamped products). Zani Guggelman has a jewelry line. And, of course, so does Rachel Zoe favorite Genevieve Jones. And, now, Olivia Palermo, best known for her appearances on The City, is getting into the game.

The harsh winds on Friday night indicated a storm was brewing, and indeed, Hanna touched shore sometime after midnight. But by then, the crates of booze were gone, we were elegantly wasted, and 750 souls packed into the 400-capacity Hudson Terrace had made their way to other parties in this Fashion Week-crazed town. Nevertheless, the evening marked a smashing success for BlackBook's celebration of premiere NYC vintage resource (plus new stuff too) What Comes Around Goes Around's 15th anniversary, presented in partnership with the fine folks at Sebastian Professional and SKYY INFUSIONS. See the gallery, and read on for more.

Earlier today, New York Post columnist Cindy Adams was all, "Who the hell is this Olivia Palermo chick?" Gawker provided a comprehensive answer. NYMag.com then worried that Adams might die from the whole shocking experience. We, however, know better. Adams will be fine, Palermo will be finer. And you know why? Because socialites and New York go together better than peanut butter and marijuana. Also, socialites will continue their reign on red carpets because, well, their absurd names can be twisted into all kinds of dirty phrases. And that's why we love them. After the jump, watch OLIVIA PALERMO transform into A VIRILE LOOMPA, along with nine other moniker makeovers.

Over the weekend, New York PR scenester, and upcoming reality TV star, Kristian Laliberte's Facebook account was hacked into, and the still unknown hacker sent a series of personal and offensive messages throughout his online network. This intrusion came weeks after Laliberte's Gmail account was broken into. Now, apparently, whoever did this is threatening to print out the incriminating email messages, which he or she will then hand deliver to the people mentioned in them. Yesterday, Page Six Magazine's Joshua David Stein reported on his blog that Laliberte was responsible for leaking stories about New York socialite Olivia Palermo, among others, to the press. It's a dicey position for someone in PR, to be sure. But, Laliberte stands by the claim that these messages have been doctored by someone with too much time on their hands. After the jump, he offers up his side of the story.
