Toronto-based rockers The Cliks have the distinction of being the first transgender band signed to a major label. Lead singer Lucas Silveira has gotten press from the likes of MSNBC and The Boston Globe for his gender-bending lifestyle, and all band members are prominent figures in the LGBT community. Their third LP, Dirty King, was released yesterday. To celebrate, Silveira took the time to answer a few of life's most pressing questions.

Here's why we love Santigold: She used to front a punk band in Philly named Stiffed, she can work out a tiger-print leotard, and she changed her name and you don’t even care why. This week, she and her fiancé Trouble Andrew took over Terminal 5 with Amanda Blank, and this summer Santi does the Euro festival thing, closing it all out at Lollapalooza in Chicago. For a woman this busy to take the time for our humble Pop Quiz, well, it's an honor.

Jason Behr is often be referred to as the guy from Roswell -- you know, that sci-fi UPN cult series. But while his days of alien/human interactions may be over, the female fanbase will never disappear. With Behr's casual guy-I'd-like-to-introduce-to-my-folks appearance and sultry bad-boy-with-a-good-heart attitude, how could they? As the star of Steve Clark's directorial debut The Last International Playboy, playing Jack Frost (the playboy), Behr shows audiences that he can act the tortured soul living a life of excess better than most. Catch him next in Oliver Stone's Pinkville, due out in 2011. Before tonight's premiere of TLIP, Behr dedicated some good thinking time to our Pop Quiz questions.

imageThis one is special, folks. We used our significant pull in the world of "actors who used to play superheroes on TV" to nab the great Lynda Carter, aka Wonder Woman, to answer our Pop Quiz. We got her to answer intimate questions about herself, no truth lasso requited. Granted, the iconic actress has a new album to promote called At Last (that's right, she sings), but still, it's pretty good. You're next, Adam West.

It’s fair to say that the power-punk trio The Thermals have major credibility. It was Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie that handed their demo to their first label. They just made the move from Sub Pop Records to Kill Rock Stars. They live in Portland. It’s also fair to say that, after seeing The Thermals headline Bowery Ballroom last month, I have a girl crush on bassist Kathy Foster. She’s adorable, her band covers Nirvana, and she has no problem playing in a short dress. Catch Kathy, Hutch, and Westin live as The Thermals are currently on tour in support of their fourth record Now We Can See , and have just been added to the Pitchfork festival in Chicago this summer. But first, check out Kathy’s answers to our Pop Quiz.

Lydia Hearst is the picturesque, partially nude poster girl for the Steve Clark film The Last International Playboy (drops June 12). In the New York-based film, the model/actress/philanthropist/heiress (not to mention former BlackBook intern) plays a bombshell model who meets protagonist Jack Frost (played by Roswell's Jason Behr) during a hedonistic/self-destructive phase of life. Her topless scene in the flick has been a topic of conversation, and luckily, the media favorite had time to answer our Pop Quiz in between fielding calls.

You may recognize him from his shoulder-length blonde hair when standing front and center in the Saturday Night Live house band every weekend. Jared Scharff is currently the youngest guitarist among the old pros at SNL. In a city filled with posers and talentless, wannabe rock stars, Scharff has taken the music scene by storm with his electrifying sound and sheer ability to tear up his instrument. Guitar hero Scharff was kind enough to put down his axe long enough to answer our Pop Quiz.

A little over a year ago, our web designer left New York for Austin and a full time gig as the drummer in garage soul outfit Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. Since then, they've basically played their way onto peoples playlists, with seven shows at SXSW, and a current cross country tour in support of their latest LP Tell 'Em What Your Name Is!. The devoted troubadours are fronted by Black Joe Lewis, their galvanizing lead singer, guitarist, and stealer of web designers. Here he reveals a possible crush on Beyonce's lil' sis and other curiosities in our requisite Pop Quiz.

If you’re looking for a mellow soundtrack to rock you to sleep, you could always try the debut album Magnolia by The Wooden Birds. However, be aware that while the latest project from Andrew Kenny (American Analog Set, Broken Social Scene) draws you in with folky beats and a rhythmic pace, it is also unexpectedly chilling, enlisting help from songwriter David Wingo (scorer of David Gordon Green films) and hypnotic harmonies by vocalist Leslie Sisson. The band started as a concept by Kenny two years ago, with the album released May 12 on Barsuk Records. First, though, the Austin-based Kenny told us about his love for boobs, his affinity for the channel TBS, and having his dreams realized at a bar in Brooklyn in our airborne (but in no way rigid) Pop Quiz.
