Designing a line of swimsuits named Nycked along with Lorenzo Martone (Marc Jacobs' better half) isn't the only collaboration keeping Jules Kim busy these days. The jewelry designer is embarking on a diffusion line for her NYC-based collection Bijules with Urban Outfitters called BJ by Jules Kim. "Comprised of sterling silver, plastic and gold-plated sterling silver rings, priced from $18 to $162, the looks are near-spitting images of ones found in the brand's signature collection — only these sell for around half the price (or in the case of the $18 plastic rings, a mere fraction of the price)," says All The Rage. As with Kim's namesake line, expect affordable bold styles like the Rihanna-approved nail ring and thin 'bar' rings in both silver and plastic, which are already in stores.

There's more that goes into the 'no makeup' look than not wearing any. If you just didn't wear makeup, this would be a lot easier. For one, I wouldn't have to write this post. And you would save money. Or maybe spend more on skin treatments. But I'm just going to go with my gut and assume that if you're reading this, you probably wear a little makeup. Or at least like Alexander Wang. And therefore you probably know how casual and cool his all-American girls looked with those bold brows and dewy faces for spring. In recent seasons there's been talk of a small fashion week stimulus package in the form of selling off show seats. Surely not a bad idea given the industry's recent economic struggles, the proposal has been controversial nonetheless. But come New York Fashion Week 2010, which kicks of February 11, two very well-known designers are taking matters into their own hands and hawking tickets to their shows... granted, all proceeds will go to charity. Marchesa just announced that they'll auction off tickets to their fashion week presentation: bids for which are currently clocked in at $1,850. Although, it's not just a VIP pass to the presentation the winner will win. "Not only will the winner receive a collection dress—which she’ll get to choose herself at the design duo’s Manhattan studio—she’ll also get two VIP passes to the label’s February 17 presentation at Chelsea Art Gallery," says Fashionista.

Erin Wasson has taken some heat recently in the fashion world. First, her jewelry line is said to be ripped off from designer Bliss Lau. Then her styling gig for pal Alexander Wang is no more. Now the multifaceted, one-time model may be stepping into the lion's den by designing her own line for RVCA. (Let's hope her work doesn't look too similar to buddy Wang's.) Wasson says the collection mirrors her own "tomboy chic" aesthetic; pieces range from low-cut tanks ($55) to denim cut-offs ($230), and the line has fittingly been picked up by Opening Ceremony. With so many irons in the fashion fire, are Wasson's modeling days over? "Oh, no, honey," she says. "You don't bite the hand that feeds you."
