Rogan Gregory, designer of NYC-based line Rogan, has teamed up with luxurious armor designer Pamela Love to create a collection of poetically inscribed lockets. Under the name ROGAN vs. LOVE, each locket is cut in oxidized sterling silver with champagne diamonds and adorned with affectionate phrases like "Let's Make Mistakes" and "Don't Stop Love" (pictured). To celebrate the collection, which first appeared during Fashion's Night Out, the collaborators are hosting a holiday pop-up shop at the Rogan store at 330 Bowery that will include their jewelry, as well as vintage, accessories, dreamcatchers, and other love-inspired treats.

While you're bopping about town on Fashion's Night Out, stimulating the economy and whatnot with your cab fares and fancy purchases, designers and friends including ROGAN, OAK, The Smile, and Archetype Showroom will be trying to lure you to their neck of the woods. Together with other local favorites, the group's pooling their talents to present the first annual Black Carnival on Fashion’s Night Out from 6PM-11PM. Bond Street between Bowery & Lafayette will be roped off in street-fair fashion—funnel cakes replaced by luxe sushi, street meat by high fashion—to celebrate the dark (and humorous) side of fashion with black tents, live music, local cocktails, and unchecked revelry. No man is an island, and neither are retail brands, which is why these Noho favorites have joined forces. Our favorite destinations in the nabe after the jump.

The fashion world is responsible for bestowing upon us much good. It’s indirectly (or directly) responsible for the Kate Moss coke tape, the latest cover of V Magazine, and come to think of it, our September issue. Every once in a while, the gliteratti of the fashion world unite for a supremely worthy cause. A jaunt to JustOneFrickinDay.com will reveal just cause in Joey Jalleo and Elettra Wiedemann's (supermodel face of Lancome and daughter of Isabella Rossellini) effort to bring a solar-powered hospital to the African nation of Burundi. The Burundi Solar project aims to raise $450K by gathering six of the fashion industry’s most influential rising stars to design T-shirts for purchase on their website. Chris Benz, Giambattista Valli, Rogan, Rag & Bone, Phillip Lim and House of Diehl have designed the limited edition shirts for $60 each. T-shirts have been on sale since yesterday, so be a pal and help a nation out.

Rogan Gregory, the eco-friendly designer behind Rogan—think natural fibers and hoodies, American Apparel without the ambiguously underaged exploitation—celebrated the release of his Target collection with a three-day shopping event at Barneys New York. The 60-style line, which ranges in price from $15 to $45, will be available in stores and online May 18. Celebrity friends like Amanda Peet, Diane Kruger, Alan Cumming, and Waris Ahluwalia came out to toast the collection. We wanted to make a joke about Rogan sounding like Rogaine, which makes us think of Hair Club for Men, and then segue into, "I'm not just the president, I'm also a customer." But it's Friday afternoon, so instead, we'll just show the video after the jump.
