Lana Del Rey appeared on SNL last night. She’s a polarizing figure and why we know her name or why she was asked to be on the show before she’s even released an official album can be debated forever on buzzy music blogs and within every ‘indie’ scene. But no matter what side you're on in the authenticity argument (or if you just don't care because OMG she’s soooo hot) there is no room for debate: she bombed last night.

Last week's Saturday Night Live ran a cute sketch making light of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow's predilection for pointing out his love for Jesus, like, literally all the time. The sketch, featuring a mailed in Jason Sudeikis-as-Jesus impersonation, was easy-breezy enough, though a little on the nose.

We're talking about those sixty-second snippets where you meet the week's host alongside an SNL cast member in a series of snappy, spot-on gags. This week's, featuring Scarlett Johansson and Jason Sudekis, is one of its best yet. We've only watched it about 37 times.
