If you're like me, you've been listening to Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience all morning, as the upcoming album is currently streaming for free on iTunes. But you'll need a break eventually; I suggest you take a listen to the Aeroplane remix of the lead single, "Suit & Tie," before getting back into that eight-minute song that sounds like the Miami Sound Machine invaded the studio and demanded, at gunpoint, that Timberlake and Timbaland let them join in on the fun. It's been, oh, almost seven years since Justin Timberlake released FutureSex/LoveSounds. In the meantime, he's tried pretty hard to be an actor instead of a singer, although he did sing a fake Bon Iver song on SNL earlier last year. But it appears that those dormant vocal cords will be busting out soon enough, as there are rumblings around the internet that Timberlake is planning to release a new album this year.

In case you haven't heard by now, it sounds like Drake is going to serve as the executive producer of Aaliyah's forthcoming posthumous album. Using previously unreleased Baby Girl vocals, Drizzy has quite the task ahead of him. He needs to do everything he can to honor the legacy of Aaliyah and create an album that's worthy of being placed next to the stuff she put out before her untimely death in 2001.

MCA’s family and friends have hardly had time to grieve for the recently deceased rapper, and already the Beastie Boys, the group that brought him, along with Ad-Rock and Mike D., to fame, are back in hot water.

Music lovers yearning for good news about resurging late '90s/early '00s hip-hop and R&B performers, rejoice. This is your week. First, Brandy and Monica released "It All Belongs to Me," their first single together since 1998's "The Boy Is Mine," and now Missy Elliott and Timbaland will be releasing albums at the same time in June of 2012. In the past, collaborations between the two have produced hip-hop gold, from "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" to "Get Ur Freak On." More recently, they united for "All Night Long," a track by ex-Disney teen pop star Demi Lovato.

● Having yet to scandalize with his tales of binge drinking and ungroomed nethers, Daniel Radcliffe says that he likes to "like somebody before I sleep with them," but that sex with Harry Potter groupies "has happened." And a million new Harry fanfics were born. [NYDN]

Happy Bastille Day, friends! Today commemorates the day when a bunch of ragamuffins stormed the Bastille, upended traditional monarchy and paved the road for a better, newer, more Muslim-hating French government! So how can you celebrate? By brushing up on banal phrases like voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir and oui. Or by attempting to speak the language with trepidation usually reserved for hostage negotiation. It's a bane non-French pop stars know all too well. Did you know that in order to preserve contemporary culture, radio stations in France are required to play at least 40% of their songs in French during prime time? This law has been something of a nuisance to non-French said pop stars who otherwise easily enjoy global success, although a few managed to break through by picking some stilted French, brutalizing the language of love in their cross-over attempt.
