After dating for seven years, William finally, as Beyoncé would say, “put a ring on it.” It’s set to be the biggest wedding of the year—perhaps decade. So what would you do if you had the endless budget of a princess? I know what I would do—spend that precious royal dough and throw the wedding of my dreams. It's been an awful day for the two-time Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan, whose father was found dead yesterday. As terrible as it is to be reminded about a famous person when something tragic happens to them-- it'd be much better to be reminded when something good happens to them-- we're certainly thinking of Kerrigan now. And, seriously, that woman wore a lot of classy outfits on the ice. (Johnny Weir, look her up.) Recently, the designer Vera Wang looked back on some of the sport's best looks, reminiscing in particular on a neon yellow number with pink beading that Kerrigan wore at the 1994 games in Lillehammer, Norway. One of the best things about modern technology is its immediacy. Last night I knew where I needed to be that second to see Daria and Lily having a dance off for Fashion's Night Out thanks to Twitter (they were cutting a rug at Indochine). According to Page Six, the pair were planning to marry at Hilfiger's swanky Mustique digs this Friday and follow up with a larger celebration for friends at The Plaza in October. Not anymore!
