2011 was the year of youth style. From tween actors like Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld, to bloggers like Tavi Gevinson, the fashion world was openly enthralled with said sartorial wunderkinds, documenting their fashion sense just as thoroughly as they would for Kate Moss and Chloë Sevigny. Leading the pack was the offspring of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise. While the five-year-old stylesetter was last year's tot to envy, there's a new kid on the block that's quickly giving Cruise a run for her money--and she's only five months old.   

Say what you will, but Victoria Beckham is a legitimate fashion designer. Her timeless frocks favored by the likes of Blake Lively, Heidi Klum, Drew Barrymore, and Gwyneth Paltrow, landed her a runway show this past NYFW. Now that she's made her presence known as a solo talent, she's taking the next logical step by partnering with other well-known brands to reach a wider audience.

● David and Victoria Beckham had their fourth child and first daughter, Harper Seven. Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy also welcomed another this weekend, a "healthy baby boy." Eva Longoria and hair stylist Ken Paves threw a baby shower for Victoria Beckham this weekend, and it was very, very pink. The Beckhams already have three boys, all of whom have been saddled with truly unfortunate names -- Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz -- so the clan is understandably excited to welcome a little girl. The shower sounds swanky, like you would expect:

● Nic Cage was arrested this weekend in New Orleans for domestic abuse after a drunken argument between Cage and his wife, Alice, spilled out of a tattoo parlor and on to the streets. Things got truly weird was when "dedicated fan" Dog the Bounty Hunter showed up to post Cage's bail. [TMZ] ● It seems like Sarah Lane is pretty mad about not being credited for the exact number of pirouettes she did for Black Swan, but she insists it's not like that. "They threatened the entire principle of ballet," she's now saying. Really! It's not about the fame, just the art. "I don't feel disgruntled, but I did wish she could have said something nice about ballet instead of saying it's horrible and that it was awful." ● Sarah Jessica Parker says that she would be game for a third Sex and the City movie, because too much of a good thing can still never be enough. [LATimes] ● Thrilled to have George Clooney in town filming, a couple of Cincinnati artists created a Sistine Chapel-inspired mural for the actor called "God's Gift to Women." [PopEater] ● The video for "Hold It Against Me" finds Britney Spears shooting neon goo from her fingers during a fight with herself while her old videos play on the walls of whatever sort of space chamber she's in. Not for you? There's a new Radiohead song out, too, and Thom Yorke looks pretty cute in his bowler hat. [YouTube]

● Great news for fans of Ashlee Simpson divorces: After three years of marriage, Ashlee Simpson is parting ways with Pete Wentz. Expect custody battles and two very sub-par breakup albums. [LAT] ● Miley Cyrus opens up to Marie Claire about her infamous bong video. "It was a bad decision," she said, not referring to her father's haircut. [Marie Claire] ● This is fun. Victoria Beckham's iPhone background is a topless picture of husband David Beckham, but what concerns us more is her disturbing lack of apps. It's called Shazam, try it some time. [Gawker]

● Sarah Palin may be putting aside her controversial TLC reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska, passing on the alleged $250,000 per episode and ratings in hopes of pursuing a more serious political future. Whether she can do more damage on reality television or in the White House remains to be seen. [HuffPo] ● David and Victoria Beckham are adding to their beautiful brood. Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo can expect a new fabulously named brother or sister sometime this summer. [People] ● The recently split Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent what sounds like a more than friendly night together at the opening of Hollywood's Eden, "dancing, drinking vodka and canoodling." From Spice World to the fashion world, Victoria Beckham-née-Adams has had quite the interesting career. After a timid foray into fashion, including a line of jeans for Rock & Republic and later her own denim line, Beckham’s back at the drawing board with a new line of luxury handbags. The collection includes six different styles, ranging from $1,800 to $13,950, and two of the styles went on sale yesterday morning on the UK Net-a-Porter site. After barely an hour, one of the bags had sold out entirely (pictured, left), while the remaining crocodile skin bag still remains in limited quantities (hardly the impulse buy at $13,800).
