Not too long ago, we warned you about the dangers of sharing your Netflix password with your friends, lest you end up with your recommendations list clogged with lots of terrible sci-fi shows (or worse, as happened to a friend of mine, prenatal yoga videos—yikes). Well, that same rule applies to other premium on-demand TV-watching type services, including Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime and, to a greater extent, HBO Go. But the thing about HBO Go is that unlike Netflix, to which, you know, a smattering of people actually subscribe, there are but a meager handful of actual HBO Go users who subscribe. Admit it, you're probably watching Boardwalk Empire right now using a password you got from your parents or your friend who makes a lot more money than you do or your friend's sister's roommate's boyfriend's aunt's manicurist or something.
