Update: Jamie Foxx apologizes!
Yesterday, Movieline reported back from a press conference for the upcoming Robert Downey Jr./Jamie Foxx drama The Soloist, where a journalist irritated Downey Jr. by asking him if Foxx goes "full retard" in the film (a reference to a monologue from Downey Jr.'s oddball character in Tropic Thunder and Foxx's eccentric Soloist character). But Foxx's true full retard moment came not in The Soloist, but over the weekend on his Sirius Satellite radio show, when he referred to Miley Cyrus as "the one with all them gums."
The weird tirade against Cyrus came when a caller brought up her surreal feud with Radiohead. Foxx seemed to take personal offense that someone like Miley would even be mentioned in the same breath as Radiohead, so to put her in her proper place, he told her to "Go and make a sex-tape witch yo daddy!" "Go and catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat!" Wow. That girl in the photo with Foxx is his own daughter. Jamie, you just ruined any chance she had of meeting her idol.
