Prepare to swoon. Not only is he starring alongside Hugh Jackman soon, but Robert Pattinson has started whispering about another film adapted from some obscure canon that involves the types of things Anne Rice used to scribble about. He recently emerged from the wine cellar where he keeps home to declare that he has signed on for Breaking Dawn, the fourth flick in the Twilight franchise. But he dispensed little else before a paparazzo’s flashgun startled him, causing him to flinch and turn into a bat, flying away into the night.
So here's what else he leaked before he took flight . Production has yet to begin, and the rest of the casting has yet to be confirmed. New Moon, the second sucker in this overwrought mechanism built to shake down cash from the wealthiest Americans -- tweens, that is -- opens this November. Eclipse premieres Summer 2010.
Meanwhile, Twilight scribe Melissa Rosenberg should seriously consider writing in that part for Madonna. Ideally, it would be inspired by this particular piece of high literature. She even comes with her own costumes!
