A group of industrious New York-based funny people have gotten together to create Summer Fridays, a nifty little comedy centered around the forced encounters of office life. Yes, the workplace has been famously mined for laughs before, in shows like The Office and movies like Office Space. But based on the first episode, "Copy That," Summer Fridays will focus on skewering those young, know-it-all types who think they have all ten fingers on the pulse.
The show's pedigree is plucked straight from New York's close knit comedy scene. "Copy That" was directed by Emmy-nominated SNL staff writer Sarah Schneider, and features Shelly Gossman (also an SNL staff writer), and Nick Kocher, who's one half of the UCB-approved comedy duo, BriTANnick. The producers are the same jokesters behind the popular interview web series 7 Minutes in Heaven. Check it out below!
