The Beastie Boys have returned with new music after an estimated three-year delay on their eight studio album Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2. Last July, Adam “MCA” Yauch was diagnosed with cancer, prompting the group to cancel festival appearances and put the album on hold. Now things are back on track and the album’s first single “Make Some Noise” has officially arrived. Just to clarify, there was no Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1—that album has been delayed indefinitely.
Fortunately, Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 arrives on May 3.
