Much to our liking, David Lynch is in fact doing something with his time besides transcendental meditation and whittling Douglas Firs into cabinets. The man best known for movies like Blue Velvet and Eraserhead is pouring his creative juices into music, and has just released a single, "Good Day Today," via a British independent label.
The up-tempo, electro-pop track isn't Lynch’s first foray into the music world. He's long had a hand in creating songs for his films, and has collaborated with various artists over the last two decades. "Good Day Today" is minimal, bright, and reminds us a whole lot of early Moby. “I love electricity so it sort of stands to reason that I would like electronics," Lynch told The Guardian. Bring on the music video.
