Cher and Nicki Minaj’s fans have been fighting in the most unlikely Twitter War of all. Cher was alerted by one of her followers “@cher did you know that b-tch @NickiMinaj dissed you in her song DIDITONEM?” referring to a line that says “If you could turn back time--Cher/You used to be here but now you gone—Nair”. Not like Cher even cared: “I’ve seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!”

Minaj’s boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, who was recently arrested for beating her up and pushing a housekeeper, felt the need to jump in saying "yo @cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb sh-t on twitter. do you know what a rap metaphore is??? TM is a cult you dont want it with!!"

And with that poetic battle cry, plenty more Minaj fans jumped in to berate the legendary diva, causing Cher, who has to have better things to do than this, to announce “You’re right! Im wrong! U R Right! Someone said I was dissed…I’ve been dissed b4, but instead of finding out…I just got defensive!"  When this didn’t stop things, it was followed by, “Gimme a fkn break! Said I was dumb!”

Minaj eventually had to step in and direct people to stop though Samuels,  who is clearly taking lessons from the Chris Brown school of Twitter meltdowns, didn't listen, going after Chaz by Tweeting "Hi mom, you raised a hell of a son," and 'I don't give a fuck who you are if you don't show respect you will not get it in return."

So who won? Neither Minaj nor Cher, though there is a clear loser here, in all forms of the word.
