This year's schedule runs from March through June, and includes a delightfully eclectic array of comic, literary and musical talent, including:

  • 5/30 - Tim Meadows and Rhett Miller
  • 4/13 - Andy Richter and Reggie Watts
  • 4/27 - Fred Willard and Dan Wilson
  • 5/11 - Paul F. Tompkins and Aimee Mann
  • 6/1 - Wyatt Cenac and Ted Leo
  • 6/15 - Bobcat Goldthwait and St. Vincent

Tickets are on sale for $32 a pop (with discounts for MPR members) and all shows are at the Fitzgerald Theatre in Minneapolis, but those who do not frequent the Twin Cities area should not fret, as the whole thing is streamed online fo' free. It's a highly social affair, too, so those stuck on their TweetDecks on a Friday night can keep up via hashtag.

Marketplace Tech Report host and humorist John Moe and musician John Munson (best known from Minneapolis staples Trip Shakespeare and as the bassist of Semisonic—yes, they of "Closing Time" fame), the ever-growing annual series, which has featured past guests like Chuck Klosterman, Susan Orlean, Maria Bamford, John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats, Patton Oswalt and Sandra Bernhard.
