As it turns out, Colin Lane and the Fader had the same idea, except their documentary centers on New York darlings The Strokes (who banded together in 1998). Lane shot and filmed Casablancas and co. for the now-defunct Brit mag The Face in 2001, and became their "unofficial official photographer," according to the Fader. It's a silent film, but it still looks pretty cool. ��������N.H.
