Earlier today, the video for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV single “How To Love” premiered. That was pretty eventful in itself—abortion clinic experiences, an HIV diagnosis—but then, something even better happened. A new Weezy track called “It’s Good,” featuring verses from Drake and Jadakiss leaked and, well, things just got a little more interesting. Apparently Wayne has been watching the throne, and he’s got something to say to Jay-Z, which involves kidnapping his wife.
On Watch The Throne’s bonus track, “H.A.M." Jay spits one line directed toward Weezy and Cash Money co-founder Birdman (aka “Baby”)—“I’m like really half a billi ni--a, Really you got baby money Keep it real with ni--as, Ni--as aint got my lady money”—which Wayne didn’t seem particularly upset about, when he addressed it in an interview with MTV.
But on this new leak, Wayne gets his comeback on, directing this line toward Hov:” Talkin' 'bout baby money, I got your baby money/Kidnap your b-tch, Get that 'how much you love your lady?' money." Though Hov is likely just brush it off, this is, at the very least, pretty entertaining.
