JetBlue's "All You Can Jet" program -- the $599 all-access monthlong pass to every destination the airline flies to -- goes into effect today. From now through October 8, pass-holders will be gallivanting around the country flaunting their privileges to the rest of the chumps who paid full price for their seats. The $599 pass was so hyped by the media that the total allotment for the passes sold out in record time, and several Facebook and Twitter groups sprung forth to follow the adventures of the lucky few who scored a pass.
The folks over at Jaunted have compiled a list of five blogs to follow the Jetters over the next month. There's the (cute) Terminal Man, who's sponsored by Wired and is blogging for them about his zany adventures where he never leaves the airport -- he's resolved to sleep on the curb next to the terminal in case the airport closes and kicks him out overnight. Then there's the Where We Jet crowd, nicknamed AYCJetters (All You Can) blogging for the Jetters and "those who envy them." Two gents from Buffalo are flying on a tight schedule, they're determined to spend just 12 hours in each city, and they're blogging all about it on 12 Hours in a City. Then there's the guy writing the blog All I Can Jet, who's writing about his journey jetting around the country. Finally, the Tweet feed that's gathering all the links and sound bites about the Jetters is @599Club. Looks like JetBlue really knows how to work the social media angle.
